The moment you choose to reclaim direction.

Two men in conversation in a warm, calm living room

KAIRO offers structured online programmes for people who want to regain grip on problematic alcohol use, substance use, craving or other recurring patterns that take up more space than they want. No label. Fully online. No waiting room.

Does this sound familiar?

"I've got it under control."

Most people who come to KAIRO have told themselves these things for years. If this resonates with you, it might be the moment to reclaim your control — and KAIRO is here to show you how.

The vision behind KAIRO

What KAIRO does

From losing your gripto taking it back.

KAIRO helps you understand where loss of control actually comes from: how craving builds, how a pattern installs itself, why your brain keeps reaching for the same quick relief even when you know better. Not from judgment. From responsibility.

Experiences with KAIRO

In people’s own words.

+

For the first time I actually understood why I kept ending up in the same place. That awareness alone changed something.

Client · Amsterdam

I wasn't ready to call it a problem. Bart made it possible to be honest without that label being the first thing I had to accept.

Client · London

The structure gave me something to hold on to. I came in with no direction and left with a plan I actually trust.

The origin of KAIRO

The person guiding youhas been whereyou are.

KAIRO didn’t come from a textbook. It came from a life: lost control in his youth, a voluntary choice to turn it around, and then eight years inside clinical addiction care and forensic psychiatry.

Bart built KAIRO on what he learned: how the brain installs a pattern, how craving works, why people lose their grip, and how they take it back.

The fertile garden of craving — KAIRO e-book

Free e-book

The fertile garden
of craving

Understanding desire. Transcending habit. Returning to what truly nourishes.

Within KAIRO, Bart works with his own psycho-educational materials, including The Fertile Garden of Craving: a short novel that makes vulnerability and loss of control easier to understand. Understanding these processes can be an important step towards reclaiming direction. The content has been reviewed by a GZ-psychologist for quality assurance purposes.
